Product exhibitions are, by design, extremely competitive environments to work within and brands need to ‘shout loud’ to be heard above their neighbours. When Grohe, a leading brand in the Kitchen, Bath and Sanitary industry, needed a company to design, fabricate and project manage their presence at the 18th Kitchen and Bath Show in Shanghai - KBC China - they turned to Pico.
Having been absent from the exhibition in 2012, Grohe needed to ‘play catch up’ and come back to KBC in style. They also needed to match the high standards set at the Frankfurt KBC show, held earlier in the year. For Pico, this kind of challenge is our specialty.
The first step was to gain full understanding of Grohe’s products and their capabilities, so we could properly integrate them into the design. Having done this via an intense training session at the client’s premises, our team integrated Grohe's Slogan "Enjoy Water" into all aspects of the display.
We delivered a great design for the Grohe booth - sleek and functional, with stylish mirrored elements giving the appearance that some product displays were floating in midair. Wooden shutters, wooden detailing and a simple, spacious design also gave the booth a relaxing and inviting spa-like appearance. The booth was a real hit with visitors, and helped catapult Grohe back into the spotlight at this prestigious show.
