Lithuania Pavilion at Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea

The Lithuanian Pavilion offered a different viewpoint on the country’s ocean and seashore environments, by presenting thousand-year-old specimens of plants and animals embedded in amber. Pico ensured that the ‘Amber: Gold of the Baltics’ theme was brought to life through a stunning amber-coloured room with a golden-pearlescent floor, with columns containing prime specimens of ferns, spiders and a lizard trapped forever in amber. The Lithuanian Pavilion won a Silver Award for Creative Display by the Yeosu Expo Organising Committee as well as an honourable mention for Exhibitor Magazine’s Best Exhibit/Small Pavilion Category of Yeosu Expo Award.

The Lithuania Pavilion also received the Silver Award for Creative Display at  the Expo 2012 Official Participants Awards, organised by the Bureau International des Expositions.
