The 49th Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo

Established in 1934, the Chinese Manufacturers' Association of Hong Kong (CMA) is a not-for-profit chamber of commerce which is committed to serving the community and safeguarding the public interest. The Hong Kong Brands and Products Exhibition was established by the CMA in 1938 to promote Hong Kong products and paint a full picture of Hong Kong's secondary industry. Today, the exhibition is one of the largest outdoor expos in Hong Kong, featuring famous brands and quality products from Hong Kong, China and overseas.

Pico has been involved in the HKBPE for many years, and this year our design, account servicing and production teams worked together to set a new milestone for the client – and for ourselves. Presenting the HKBPE as one of Hong Kong’s most popular and historic events, we used the iconic skyline of Victoria Harbour overlaid with some local “big brands” as a visual theme. The design concept was accentuated through layering and special lighting effects.

The 28,000 sq. m. show was held outdoors in Hong Kong Island’s Victoria Park. This required detailed design and fabrication planning, and Pico teams found ways to deliver the design concept in a cost-effective, safe and convenient way. Our creative and flexible solutions reached and exceeded the client’s expectation, and resulted in a highly successful show which promoted Hong Kong’s commercial and industrial development to the world.
