Venues included Cesana Sansicario, Sansicario Fraiteve, Cesana Pariol, Pragelato, Sestriere, Sestriere Colle, Sestriere Borgata.

Pico’s extensive array of facilities included 40,000 sq.m. of tenting, 800 chemical toilets, 80,000 sq.m. of carpets and pavements, 13,000 prefabricated houses, 66,000 metres of fencing and 1,500 flag and banner poles. Other facilities included multi-tiered spectator seating, fully-functioning tentage and pagodas, restaurants, kitchens and catering facilities, commentators’ cabins, indoor and outdoor carpets and floorings. Solid gantries, gangways, fences and protective safety barriers, jersey, electric works and cable bridges were also built.

Besides the XX Olympic Winter Games, Pico has been called upon to work for many other international sporting events including the Athens Olympic and Paralympic Games 2004, the Melbourne Commonweath Games 2006 and the 15th Asian Games 2006 in Doha.
