The 4,000 sq. m. Shanghai Corporate Joint Pavilion was a true show-stopper. Dubbed ‘The Magic Cube’, the pavilion’s exterior was made with recycled CD cases. This highly eco-friendly building was filled with intelligent technologies, a dream-like atmosphere and interactive experiences, with interior decoration and exhibition elements realised by Pico. From ‘The Butterfly Professor’ fantasy film to the ‘Robot Restaurant’, where all meals are cooked by an intelligent robotic system, and topped off by a spectacular light show, the pavilion formed connections with visitors and prompted them to think of ways to improve their city’s future.
