Originating in China, the Duanyang or Dragon Boat Festival commemorates fealty and filial piety. Over the course of history, Dragon Boat racing has become the best-known element of the festival and a popular sport in Hong Kong. In 2016, over 50 paddlers from Pico as well as family members joined the race in Tai Po, where Pico Group headquarters is located. Chanting “Pico” from start to finish, the team paddled with credible vigour all the way across the finish line.
