On 5 October 2018, members of the Pico+ US team got back – and gave back – to nature as they gathered in Coldwater Canyon Park in Los Angeles for Park Work Day.

Organised by TreePeople, the activity included removing invasive plants, clearing trails and paths, spreading mulch, and generally restoring the park’s lush scenery to pristine condition.

TreePeople is a non-profit organisation with a mission to inspire and support tree planting, tree care, rain harvesting and landscape renewal in Los Angeles.

For the Pico+ US team, the activity was educational: staff members went away with a new appreciation for the role of mountain forests and water conservation in creating a livable environment in Los Angeles over the long term.
