Assistant General Manager / Team Leader

Responsibilities

Important position to take a lead role in bringing to life memorable, once-in-a-lifetime projects 

  • Production progress management (planning, production and execution) of clients' booth strategies and designs at exhibitions
  • Coordination with designers and various suppliers for work related to exhibiting and hosting (productions, various arrangement work) and on-site management and operational support
  • Sales to existing and new clients
  • Support for booth operations
  • On-site management
  • Sales to existing and new clients
  • Overseas and domestic business trips

The kind of person we are looking for

  • A person who can take the initiative to demonstrate his/her experience and expertise, and provide accurate advice on clients' needs.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the exhibition or event industry and a desire to share in projects that will be both recorded and remembered, such as World Expos and theme parks.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience in the exhibition or event industry (experience in project management for Expo/theme parks, etc. is a plus); sales experience in a construction or building company is also welcome.
  • Language skills in English and Japanese are required.
  • English required: business conversation, reading and writing skills
  • Japanese language skills: Business Japanese, reading, writing, and fluent in spoken Japanese
  • High level of sales skills with ability to manage costs
  • PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • Must currently reside in Japan.
