General Manager, Account Sales

Responsibilities

Critical position to spearhead memorable, once-in-a-lifetime projects and move the company forward

  • Ability to create annual and mid-term plans
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Existing and new clients
  • Create annual and mid-term plans and lead the sales team
  • Booth design and production management for exhibitions and events
  • Coordination with designers and various suppliers
  • Exhibitor and organizer related work (productions, various arrangements) and on-site management and operational support
  • Budget planning, execution and team management
  • Sales in general, especially in finding and selling large projects and large clients, and making presentations
  • Overseas and domestic business travel

  • At least 10 years of work experience in the exhibition or event industry, and sales experience in a construction or building company is welcome.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the exhibition or event industry (experience in project management for Expo/theme parks, etc. is a plus); experience in sales at construction/building companies is also welcome.
  • English and Japanese language skills are required.
  • English required: business conversation, reading and writing skills.
  • Japanese language proficiency: business Japanese, fluent in reading, writing and spoken Japanese
  • High level of sales skills with ability to manage costs.
  • PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Must currently reside in Japan.
