This year marks the 10th time that WWF’s famous Earth Hour 'Lights Out’ event has been held. Pico, a leading global Total Brand Activation company, is fully supporting this important event and mobilising all 45 Pico offices and Group subsidiaries located in 40 major cities around the world.
Earth Hour is now the world’s largest collective environmental action. In 2015, millions of people from over 7,000 cities and towns across 172 countries participated in this symbolic and powerful event. By becoming part of this global environmental action, the Group will not only be saving energy and setting an industry-leading example; we will use this symbolic lights out event as a springboard to help our offices develop long-term energy-saving business practices and our people develop lasting green lifestyle habits.
In response to Earth Hour 2016’s 'Donate your social power and shine a light on climate action’ campaign, Pico is using our social power by registering our offices and donating our corporate Facebook feeds in order to spread awareness about the impacts of climate change. We have also made a Group-wide commitment to take part in the one-hour lights out event at 8:30pm on 19 March.

This global action collectively taken by Pico’s offices and subsidiaries around the world marks another milestone for Pico Global Care in Action, Pico’s corporate social responsibility commitment.
