Getting ready to wow online audiences in January 2021 is Hydeout: The Prelude, a new digital music entertainment experience.
Hydeout imagines a new norm for the music and entertainment space, promoting inclusivity and diversity by attracting music lovers from across a wide spectrum of genres. With exclusively designed social features such as games, chatrooms and custom avatars, Hydeout highlights the vast potential of online interaction while virtually connecting like-minded people.
The event’s centrepiece is its 40 on-demand artist showcase episodes. Each immersive episode includes exclusive performances in virtual worlds with 3D stages or secret live locations around the world.
As official Consultant and Digital provider, Pico leveraged its strength and experience in event management and digital capability to deliver a first-of-its-kind immersive digital music entertainment platform for Hydeout. Pico also handles the festival’s artist management, sponsorship solicitation and activation, and provides marketing and PR services.
Hydeout’s line-up includes such musical talents as Andrew Rayel, Cosmic Gate, Don Diablo, Flux Pavilion, Martin Garrix, Nervo, NGHTMRE, Nicky Romero, Rita Ora, Tinashe and Yellow Claw. In a series of exclusive episode takeovers, Find Your Harmony, Monstercat, STMPD RCRDS and Youtopia will also invite their most sought-after artists to work their magic in the digital dimension.
Social interactive features such as games, chatrooms and avatar customisation allow participants to present themselves in alternative ways in imaginary worlds while discovering and connecting with their favourite artists. Whilst physical meetings may not be possible in the current situation, Hydeout’s chatrooms will in some ways capture the excitement of interacting with fellow music lovers and fans and making new friends from every corner of the globe.
