With this concert at Chongqing University in September, JD used the universal language of music to get its message across to an audience of up-and-coming thinkers.
As well as music, the event included a range of activities to help the audience engage with JD mobile phones and connect with the brand in general. Pico was entrusted to provide event management, design, execution and promotion services.
The annual Thailand’s National Science and Technology Fair goes hybrid for the first time this year at IMPACT Challenger 2, IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre in Nonthaburi.
Pico has once again been entrusted by The National Science Museum and Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to manage the country’s largest science and technology fair, which aims to stir excitement, inspiration and science awareness in equal measure.
OPPO commissioned Pico to create this 690 sq. m. booth with a single mission in mind: to connect the brand’s new gaming experiences and the latest smartphone products with the vast crowds at the China Digital Entertainment Expo and Conference.
Also known as ChinaJoy, the major gaming event’s 2020 edition ran from late July to early August at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. As in previous years, it aimed to foster an ever-greater level of communication between gamers and industry.

Appointed as the event’s official service provider for the previous four years, in 2020 Pico was invited to apply its experiential marketing and digital expertise in the role of Official Virtual Exhibitors Service Provider.
View the case studyAt Baidu’s self-driving launch ceremony held at the Apollo Park at Beijing earlier this month, Pico provided creative design, on-site setup and experiential service for the event. The testing ground was 700 km long with nearly 100 stops including Yizhuang, Haidian and Shunyi.
Baidu has announced earlier its launch of Robotaxi which could be booked online via Baidu Map or the official website of Apollo.
In July, Ai Everything Summer Conference 2020 marked the gradual return of live-in-person business events in the UAE since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Pico was appointed by Huawei Middle East to showcase their key AI Solutions by designing and building their booth.

Pico was tasked to create an immersive, interactive ‘cloud intelligent technology exhibition’ for the Congress. The team responded with a comprehensive solution which included the use of a virtual exhibition platform with 3D virtual technology and big data, exhibitor information collection and integration, content management, and real-time communication and transaction services. The result would be an entirely new visual and communication experience for guests, companies, institutions, media and visitors.
JD and Redmi’s K30 5G edition represents something compelling in the smartphone world – as JD’s data analytics capabilities were used to help Redmi customise the model precisely to customer preferences, and it was intended for sale exclusively on the popular JD retail platform. Similarly, the phone’s launch event was to be broadcast online, aiming it at the heart of JD’s youthful audience.
View the case studyChina Mobile’s Migu Video Technology adopted Pico’s new virtual reality (VR) cloud exhibition solution at the 5th Global Virtual • Reality Conference. The technology was used to enhance the audience experience, with an immersive 360-degree digital exhibition environment hosting a launch event and signing ceremony, as well as featuring a virtual exhibition area.
The conference gathered more than 60 scholars and industry experts from 10 countries around the world. Each guest was represented by an avatar and delivered keynote speeches and dialogues as though present in person.
